• "Order" means a request by you to purchase Products from us.

2. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

3. Products and Services

All our Products are handcrafted, which means:

• Each piece is unique with natural variations in wood grain, color, and texture
• Minor imperfections are inherent to handmade products and are not considered defects
• Dimensions may vary slightly (within 5%) from specifications due to the nature of wood
• Images on our website are representative but actual Products may differ

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any Products that we offer. All descriptions of Products are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our Products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any Product without notice.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfers
• UPI payments
• Cash on Delivery (available for select locations)

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made through our website.

5. Orders and Delivery

All Orders are subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel any Order at our sole discretion for reasons including but not limited to:

• Product availability
• Errors in Product description or pricing
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Inability to deliver to your location

For custom Orders, we will provide an estimated completion date which may vary depending on:

• Complexity of the design
• Availability of materials
• Current workshop schedule
• Customization requests

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays caused by third-party delivery services or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our Products, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the following circumstances:

• The Product received is significantly different from what was ordered
• The Product arrives damaged due to shipping
• There is a manufacturing defect that affects functionality

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the Product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Custom-made Products cannot be returned unless they fail to meet the agreed specifications. Minor variations in wood grain, color, or texture are not considered defects.

7. Warranty

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on all our Products against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers:

• Structural failures due to craftsmanship
• Joint failures under normal use
• Warping beyond normal expectations for solid wood

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents
• Normal wear and tear
• Changes in wood color or minor cracking due to environmental factors
• Damage caused by improper maintenance

To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase and photos of the alleged defect. We reserve the right to repair or replace the Product at our discretion.

8. Care and Maintenance

Our Products require proper care to maintain their beauty and longevity:

• Keep furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources
• Use coasters under glasses and hot items
• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
• Use wood-specific cleaners as needed
• Maintain consistent humidity levels in your home

Failure to properly care for your furniture may void the warranty. We provide detailed care instructions with each Product.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and designs, is our property and protected by copyright laws. You may not:

• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any content without our express written permission
• Use our designs to create competing products
• Claim our designs or craftsmanship as your own

You may share images of our Products for personal, non-commercial use with proper attribution to Rustic Roots Woodworks.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Rustic Roots Woodworks, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of our Products or services.

Our total liability for any claim related to our Products or services shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product in question.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Rustic Roots Woodworks from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
